Entrepreneur and passionate about financial markets, he is also the Co-Founder of African- markets.com, a financial information website dedicated to African stock markets. Jean-Julien specialized in corporate finance by working for international financial institutions such as BNP Paribas (Leveraged finance), J.P. Morgan (M&A), Deloitte and Citigroup Congo. He holds of a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, and is a CFA charterholder.

Global affairs analyst and expert on the Great Lakes region, he previously worked with various
NGOs in several countries on projects to respond to humanitarian crises, and to tackle the
effects of poverty as well as its root causes. Team Leader of the Galuni team assigned with the
Congolese government, he served as Special Advisor to the Minister of Public Health,
overseeing relations with bi and multilateral partners and the international agenda of the
Minister.
Jonathan attended the Global Fund Board meetings (39 th , 40 th , 41 st and 42 nd ) as member of the
West and Central Africa Constituency delegation as well as several high-level meetings on
Global health issues on behalf of the Congolese government.
He holds Masters Degrees in Diplomacy & Conflicts resolution and in International
Humanitarian Aid (European NOHA Program) from the Catholic University of Louvain in
Belgium, and Public Leadership Certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School for Government.

Jessica is a bilingual strategic communication specialist who is passionate about telling Africa’s
story to the world.
With 10 years of experience working in Europe and several African countries, she developed a
unique set of skills making her a well-rounded professional able to tackle all the communication
challenges you might face.
Having worked in public relations agencies, public institutions and a philanthropic organisation,
she can quickly adapt to new environments and provide the same level of commitment and
professionalism whether she is coordinating an official ceremony attended by the President or
planning an awareness campaign with students.
Over the course of her career, she advised clients in global health, finance, mining, international
development, education and agriculture sectors.
She is also in the Organising Committee of the Africa Communications Week, an international
campaign and platform bringing together communications professionals from more than 40
countries. They all share the vision that strategic communication should be placed at the heart
of the economic transformation of Africa.
Jessica holds a Master degree in European and International Law from the Catholic University of
Leuven (KULeuven), a Master degree in ‘Global Politics’ from the London School of Economics
and Political Sciences, and a Certificate in Public Diplomacy from USC Center on Public
Diplomacy.
